Cookie Policy

What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Classroom 6X uses cookies and similar technologies, such as localStorage, when you visit our website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can remember preferences, keep a site secure or help measure how the site is used. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar browser feature that lets a website save small amounts of data on your device. Unlike cookies, local storage data is not automatically sent to the server with each request.
How We Use Them
Strictly necessary and functional storage
We use your browser's localStorage to power the favorites and recently played features, and to remember simple preferences such as whether you have dismissed a notice. This data stays on your device, is not shared with us, and is needed for those features to work. If you clear it, your lists will reset.
Analytics cookies
We may use an analytics service to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed most, how long pages take to load and which games fail to start. These tools may set cookies that collect information such as your browser type, device, approximate location and pages visited. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify individual players.
Advertising cookies
If the site displays ads, our advertising partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure performance and, where permitted, show ads based on your interests. Where the law requires consent, these cookies are only set after you agree through our consent banner.
Third-Party Game Cookies
Games on Classroom 6X are embedded from third-party hosts using iframes. When a game loads, its host may set its own cookies or use its own local storage, for example to save game progress, run in-game ads or collect analytics. These are controlled by the game provider, not by us, and are subject to their own policies. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser may prevent some games from saving progress.
Managing Your Choices
- Consent settings: where a consent banner is shown, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies and change your choice later.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may affect how some games and features work.
- Clearing local storage: clearing site data for Classroom 6X removes your favorites and recently played list.
- Ad personalization: you can limit personalized advertising through your browser, device settings or industry opt-out tools.
On managed devices such as school Chromebooks, some settings may be controlled by your administrator.
How Long Data Is Kept
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. LocalStorage data remains until you clear it or your browser removes it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our tools or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
