Our Approach to Copyright
Classroom 6X respects the intellectual property rights of game developers, publishers and other creators, and we expect our users to do the same. Games on the site are embedded from third-party sources for web play, and all rights remain with their owners. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws in other countries.
If you are a developer and simply want your game credited differently, updated to a newer version or removed, you do not need to send a formal legal notice. Just contact us at contact@classroom6x.site and we will be glad to help.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on Classroom 6X infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to contact@classroom6x.site that includes the following:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the URL or URLs on Classroom 6X where the allegedly infringing material appears, such as the specific game page;
- your contact information, including name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. Please note that under the DMCA, knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages.
What Happens Next
When we receive a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material identified, usually by taking down the relevant game page or embed. We may contact you if we need more information. Where the content is hosted by a third party, we may also suggest that you contact that host directly, since removing an embed from our site does not remove the game from its original source.
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to contact@classroom6x.site that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Where legally appropriate, we may restore the material if the original complainant does not notify us within the required period that they have filed a court action.
Repeat Infringement
Classroom 6X does not host user uploads, but we will stop sourcing games from any provider that repeatedly supplies infringing content.
