About Doodle Jump
Doodle Jump is one of the defining endless jumpers, and it still holds up remarkably well. You guide the Doodler, a small four-legged alien, as it bounces automatically from platform to platform on a sheet of graph paper. Your only job is to steer left and right so it lands on the next ledge. Miss, and it falls off the bottom of the screen.
Released by Lima Sky in 2009, the game became a mobile hit thanks to its hand-drawn charm and simple controls. Springs, trampolines, propeller hats and jetpacks launch you skyward, while monsters, UFOs and black holes stand in the way of a new personal best. The browser version keeps the same simple steering and the same addictive urge to beat your last height.
How to play Doodle Jump
The Doodler jumps on its own every time it lands on a platform, so you only steer. Move left and right to line up with the next ledge as the screen scrolls upward. Green platforms are safe, but others move sideways, break on contact or vanish after one bounce. Power-ups like springs, trampolines, propeller hats and jetpacks send you shooting upward. Monsters and UFOs block the path; shoot them from below or bounce on their heads, and steer clear of black holes. Your score is simply how high you climb before falling.

| SpaceorUp Arrow | Shoot upward |
| Left Click | Shoot toward the cursor |
| Screen edges | Wrap around to the other side |
Tips & strategy
- Use screen wrapping. Moving off one edge brings you out on the other side, which often saves a bad landing.
- Brown platforms break when you touch them, so never plan to bounce on one.
- Shoot monsters early from below rather than waiting until they are right above you.
- Avoid black holes completely; there is no escape once you are pulled in.
- Make small, gentle movements at higher altitudes where platforms are spaced farther apart.
Game features

Doodle Jump FAQ
Who created Doodle Jump?
Doodle Jump was created by Lima Sky, a small studio founded by brothers Igor and Marko Pusenjak. It launched in 2009 and became one of the most popular mobile games of its era, known for its doodle-style art, simple steering controls and endlessly replayable climb toward a higher score.
How do I get a higher score in Doodle Jump?
Focus on consistency rather than speed. Keep the Doodler near the middle, use screen wrapping to escape bad positions, and avoid breaking platforms. Grab springs and jetpacks when they are safe to reach, and deal with monsters early by shooting from below instead of trying to squeeze past them.
Can I play Doodle Jump in the browser on Classroom 6X?
Yes. This version runs directly in the browser with no app download, so it works on Chromebooks and school laptops. Use the arrow keys or A and D to steer, and press space or click to shoot. It loads quickly and is ideal for short sessions.
