About Drift Hunters

Drift Hunters, made by Studionum43, is a 3D drifting game focused entirely on the art of going sideways. There are no rivals and no lap races. Instead, you pick a car, head out on one of several tracks, and earn points for every stylish slide. Longer, faster, and more angled drifts build combos, and those points turn directly into cash.

That cash feeds a deep garage system with more than two dozen cars inspired by famous tuner models, plus upgrades for engine, turbo, weight, and brakes. You can even fine-tune camber, offset, and suspension. It remains a staple of browser car games, and the Classroom 6X version runs right in your tab.

How to play Drift Hunters

Earn money by drifting, then use it to buy and tune better cars. Pick a track such as a mountain pass, an airfield, or a tight city circuit, and start linking slides through corners. Use the handbrake or a sharp flick of the steering to break traction, then balance throttle and countersteer to hold the drift. Your score multiplier grows as long as you stay sideways without hitting walls. Crashing or straightening out banks the points. Spend earnings on engine and turbo upgrades, and adjust tuning settings to make each car easier to control.

Tips & strategy

  1. Start with a rear-wheel-drive car and a small engine upgrade. Too much power early makes drifts hard to hold.
  2. Use a quick handbrake tap to initiate, then control the angle with throttle rather than holding the handbrake through the corner.
  3. Lower the car's weight and adjust front camber in tuning to make it rotate more easily into slides.
  4. Stick to the airfield track while learning; its wide open space lets you chain long drifts without hitting walls.
  5. Switch to manual gears once comfortable, so you can hold revs in the power band during long sweeping drifts.

Game features

  • Over two dozen tunable cars
  • Detailed tuning for camber, suspension, and offset
  • Multiple tracks from city to mountain roads
  • Drift combo scoring that earns in-game cash

Drift Hunters FAQ

How do you earn money fast in Drift Hunters?

Money comes from drift points, so long, unbroken slides pay best. Choose a track with wide, flowing corners like the airfield, pick a car you control well, and focus on chaining drifts without touching walls. Upgrading your engine and turbo increases speed, which boosts points per drift, but only once you can handle the extra power.

What is the best car for beginners in Drift Hunters?

A lighter rear-wheel-drive car from the early garage is usually easiest, since it rotates predictably without too much power. Add modest engine upgrades and tweak tuning for more steering angle. As you get comfortable, move up to more powerful cars that score higher but punish sloppy throttle control.

Does Drift Hunters save my progress?

Drift Hunters stores your cash, cars, and upgrades in your browser, so progress stays as long as you use the same device and do not clear site data. It runs in a tab with no install, and lowering the graphics settings helps on Chromebooks that struggle with the 3D visuals.
