Get on Top
Two floppy wrestlers, one keyboard, and zero dignity left by round five.
About Get on Top
Get on Top is a physics wrestling game built for two people sharing one keyboard. Each wrestler is a lanky, loosely jointed figure who sways, stumbles and grabs at the other, and the only way to score is to force your rival's head into the ground. Rounds last seconds, but the ragdoll motion means no two exchanges look alike, and the most careful plan can fall apart the moment your character tips over backward.
The game comes from Bennett Foddy, the designer behind QWOP and GIRP, so the awkward controls are the whole point. Learning how weight shifts when you lean, jump or pull is what separates a lucky win from a real one. On Classroom 6X it loads straight in the browser, which makes it an easy pick when a friend is sitting right next to you.
How to play Get on Top
Both players spawn in a small arena, locked in a clumsy embrace. Your goal is to make your opponent's head touch the floor while keeping your own head up. Each wrestler moves with a set of directional keys: lean left or right to shift balance, push up to jump or straighten out, and press down to crouch and drop your center of gravity. Because the bodies are physics-driven, momentum matters more than button speed. Score a point every time you topple the other wrestler, then reset and go again until someone reaches the winning total.

Tips & strategy
- Crouch when your opponent jumps at you. A lower center of gravity makes you much harder to flip.
- Short, timed leans beat holding a direction down. Holding too long usually tips your own wrestler over.
- Jump while your rival is mid-stumble to land on top of their shoulders and drive their head down.
- Stay near the middle of the arena so you have room to recover when a push goes wrong.
- Watch the opponent's feet, not their arms. When both feet leave the floor, they are vulnerable.
Game features
- Local two-player on a single keyboard
- Ragdoll physics that make every round unpredictable
- Quick rounds with instant restarts

Get on Top FAQ
How do you score a point in Get on Top?
A point goes to whoever makes the other wrestler's head hit the ground first. Arms, backs and knees touching the floor do not count, so a wrestler can scramble on all fours and still recover. Once a head touches down, the round ends, the score updates, and both fighters reset to the starting position.
Can I play Get on Top alone?
The game is designed around two human players sharing one keyboard, one on WASD and the other on the arrow keys. There is no real single-player campaign, so the best experience is with a friend beside you. You can still practice the controls solo to get a feel for how leaning and jumping shift your weight.
Does Get on Top run on a school Chromebook?
Yes. It is a lightweight browser game with simple graphics, so it runs smoothly on most Chromebooks and older laptops. There is nothing to install. Just open the page, let it load for a moment, and both players can grab their side of the keyboard. Wider keyboards make it easier for two people to share.
