About Granny
You wake up in a locked room inside a dim old house, and the only way out is past a very unfriendly granny with a baseball bat. Created by indie developer DVloper, Granny became one of the most popular mobile horror games of its era by keeping things tense and simple: sneak, search and never make a sound you can avoid.
Granny hunts by hearing. Drop an object, step on a creaky floor or knock over a vase, and she comes running. The house is full of locked doors, hidden items and traps, and you have five in-game days to piece together an escape route. Each capture costs you a day, so every mistake pushes the pressure a little higher.
How to play Granny
Explore Granny's house to find the tools and keys needed to unlock the front door or another exit. Items like a hammer, a padlock key, pliers and a screwdriver are hidden throughout the rooms, and many are only useful in specific places. Move quietly, because noise alerts Granny to your location. If she spots you, run and hide under a bed or inside a wardrobe until she loses track of you. Getting caught ends that day and resets you to the bedroom. Escape before the fifth day runs out to win.

Tips & strategy
- Crouch when crossing hard floors and avoid the creaky spots near stairs. Most alerts come from careless footsteps.
- Learn where the hiding spots are early, especially beds and cabinets near the rooms you visit most.
- Carry only one item at a time and put it down somewhere quiet, never by dropping it on a noisy surface.
- Use your first day mostly for scouting. Knowing the layout saves you from panic later.
- When Granny is on a different floor, move fast. When she is close, stay still and let her walk away.

Granny FAQ
How do you escape in Granny?
The most common escape is through the front door, which needs several items such as the padlock key, a hammer, pliers and more to unlock its various locks. Other routes exist too, including one that uses a car in the garage. Each method requires collecting specific items while avoiding Granny.
How does Granny find you?
Granny mostly tracks you by sound. Dropping items, walking on creaky floorboards, knocking things over and running all make noise she can hear. If she sees you directly, she will chase you. Staying quiet, crouching and hiding in beds or wardrobes are your best defenses.
Can I play Granny on Classroom 6X with a Chromebook?
Yes. The browser version runs without an install and works on most Chromebooks. Since it is a horror game with sudden scares, it is best for older players. Headphones are a big help, because hearing Granny's footsteps tells you where she is before she appears.
