About House of Hazards
House of Hazards turns a perfectly ordinary home into a battlefield. Each round hands everyone the same short list of tasks, such as making coffee, reading the newspaper or watering a plant, and the first person to finish them wins. The catch is that every room is rigged. Cabinets swing open, lamps drop from the ceiling, and a single button press can send a rival sprawling across the kitchen floor.
Created by New Eich Games, the studio behind Rooftop Snipers and Getaway Shootout, it shares their gift for quick, chaotic couch competition. Rounds rarely last longer than a minute, and the frantic mix of racing and sabotage produces a lot of laughter. You can also fill empty spots with CPU players, so the house never feels empty even when you are playing alone.
How to play House of Hazards
Everyone starts in the same house with a list of chores shown at the top of the screen. Run, jump and crouch through the rooms to complete tasks in any order. When you are not near your own objective, stand by one of the glowing hazard triggers and press your action key to set off a trap, such as a swinging door or falling object, aimed at whoever is nearby. Getting hit knocks you back and costs precious seconds. Finish your chores first to win the round, and collect enough round wins to take the match.

Tips & strategy
- Learn which rooms hold which traps. Knowing where the danger comes from lets you dodge before it fires.
- Trigger hazards only when a rival is lined up; a wasted trap gives them a clean path.
- Crouch to slip under swinging objects instead of trying to outrun them.
- Tackle the chore nearest the other players last, since that is where the ambushes happen.
- Watch the task list for your opponents' progress and sabotage whoever is closest to finishing.
