Hunting Frog
One click, one sticky tongue, and a swarm of bugs that will not sit still.
About Hunting Frog
Hunting Frog is a bite-sized reflex game built around a single action. A hungry frog sits in the middle of the screen, rotating nonstop, while insects flutter around it. Each click fires out the frog's tongue in whatever direction it happens to be facing, so success depends entirely on timing your snap for the moment it lines up with a bug.
The twist is the bees. Catch one of those by mistake and the game is over, so you cannot simply click wildly. Speed and the number of hazards grow as your score climbs. It is easy to learn, quick to replay, and a nice fit for Classroom 6X when you want something lighter than a full-length game.
How to play Hunting Frog
Your frog spins continuously in place, and bugs move around it. Click or tap to shoot the tongue straight out in the direction the frog is facing at that instant. Each insect you catch adds to your score. Missing a shot does not end the game, but snapping up a bee does, so you need to watch for moments when a bug is in line with no bee in the way. As your score increases, the frog rotates faster and more creatures fill the screen, making each timing window smaller and every decision riskier.

Tips & strategy
- Watch the frog's rotation for a full turn before clicking so you get a feel for its current speed.
- Target insects that are far from any bee. A tight cluster of bugs and bees is a trap, not an opportunity.
- Remember that misses are free. Waiting for a clean shot is always better than risking a bee.
- Click slightly before the frog lines up with a bug, since the tongue takes a moment to extend at higher speeds.
- Stay relaxed as the pace increases; tensing up leads to early clicks that hit bees instead of bugs.
Game features
- Simple one-button reflex gameplay
- Spinning frog with timing-based tongue shots
- Bees add risk to every click
- Speed ramps up as your score grows
Hunting Frog FAQ
How do you lose in Hunting Frog?
The game ends when your frog's tongue catches a bee. Missing insects or firing into empty space carries no penalty, so the only real danger is a careless click at the wrong moment. Because bees move among the other bugs, the challenge is spotting safe openings and resisting the urge to snap every time something passes.
Does Hunting Frog get harder over time?
Yes. The frog spins faster as your score rises, and more insects and bees appear on screen at once. That shrinks the window for a clean shot and makes it easier to hit a bee by accident. Early rounds are relaxed, but reaching higher scores takes sharp timing and patience.
Can I play Hunting Frog on a phone or Chromebook?
Yes. Hunting Frog runs in the browser and needs only a single click or tap, so it works on Chromebooks, laptops, tablets, and phones. There is nothing to download, and each round lasts just a minute or two, which makes it ideal for quick breaks.
