Stickman Hook
Grab, swing, release, flip. One click turns a stickman into an acrobat.
About Stickman Hook
Stickman Hook, from mobile studio Madbox, turns a stick figure into a grappling acrobat. Each level is a stretch of open air dotted with anchor points, and your stickman launches himself from one to the next using a rope. Timing the release is everything: let go too early and you drop short, too late and you slam into the ground or a wall.
The physics feel bouncy and satisfying, with bumpers that fling you upward and ropes that send you spinning into mid-air flips. Levels are brief, so a failed run costs only seconds, and new stages keep introducing fresh obstacles to swing around. Unlockable characters and a steady difficulty curve give you a reason to keep going, and the one-button setup means anyone can pick it up within seconds.
How to play Stickman Hook
Click or tap and hold to attach your rope to the nearest hook point, and your stickman begins to swing like a pendulum. Release to let go and fly forward using the momentum you built. Grab the next hook at the right moment and repeat, building speed as you go. Bouncy pads can boost you higher, while walls and floors stop your progress if you hit them. Reach the finish line at the end of each level to unlock the next, and try new characters as you advance through the stages.

Tips & strategy
- Release on the upswing, just past the bottom of the arc, for the best forward and upward momentum.
- The rope always attaches to the closest hook, so position yourself before grabbing to avoid bad angles.
- Use bounce pads to regain height when you are drifting too close to the ground.
- Short swings give more control in cramped sections; long swings are better for speed in open areas.
- If a level has a ceiling, swing lower and release earlier to avoid bumping into it.

Stickman Hook FAQ
Who made Stickman Hook?
Stickman Hook was developed by Madbox, a French studio known for hyper-casual mobile games. It launched in 2018 on phones and quickly became a browser favorite because the one-button swinging mechanic works just as well with a mouse click as it does with a finger tap.
When is the best time to let go of the hook?
Release just after your stickman passes the lowest point of the swing and starts rising. That timing sends him forward and upward, carrying him toward the next hook. Letting go too early launches you downward, while holding too long can pull you backward or into an obstacle.
Can I play Stickman Hook on a Chromebook?
Yes. The game runs directly in the browser and uses only one input, so it works well on Chromebooks and school laptops. On Classroom 6X you can start swinging instantly without an account. A trackpad click works fine, but a mouse makes timing slightly easier.
