Subway Surfers
Tag the wall, dodge the trains, and outrun the grumpy inspector for as long as you can.
About Subway Surfers
Few endless runners have stuck around as long as Subway Surfers. Created by SYBO Games and Kiloo, it puts you in the sneakers of Jake, a young graffiti artist caught spraying a train yard wall. The inspector and his dog give chase, and the only way out is forward, across three lanes of subway track packed with oncoming trains, barriers, and tunnels. Every run is quick, colorful, and surprisingly hard to put down.
The browser version keeps the same bright cartoon style and snappy lane-switching feel that made the mobile original a global hit. You can pick it up on Classroom 6X in seconds, with no install and no account needed. Short sessions work great, but chasing a new high score has a way of turning one run into ten.
How to play Subway Surfers
Your goal is to run as far as possible while collecting coins and avoiding anything that can knock you down. Swipe or tap arrow keys to switch between the three lanes, jump over low barriers, and roll under high ones. Hopping onto the roofs of parked trains opens safer routes and more coins. Grab power-ups like the jetpack, coin magnet, super sneakers, and score multiplier to boost your run. Coins buy upgrades and new characters between rounds, while daily missions raise your permanent multiplier. Crash head-on into a train and the inspector catches you, ending the run.

Tips & strategy
- Get up on the train roofs whenever a ramp appears. Up top there are fewer obstacles and long coin lines, so you can relax your reactions for a few seconds.
- Save hoverboards for faster, later stages of a run. One crash while riding only breaks the board instead of ending your game.
- Roll the moment you land from a jump if a low tunnel or barrier is next; pressing down mid-air drops you instantly.
- Spend early coins upgrading the coin magnet and jetpack duration, since longer power-ups snowball into bigger coin totals every run.
- Complete the mission sets as often as you can. Each set permanently raises your score multiplier, which matters more than distance alone.
Game features
- Three-lane endless running with fast swipe controls

Subway Surfers FAQ
What ends a run in Subway Surfers?
A run ends when you crash straight into the front of a train or a solid barrier, letting the inspector and his dog catch you. Clipping the side of a train only stumbles you, but a second stumble soon after is also game over. An active hoverboard absorbs one crash, which is why saving boards for later in a run is smart.
How do I raise my score multiplier?
Your permanent multiplier goes up each time you finish a set of three missions, such as collecting a certain number of coins or jumping a set number of times. Picking up the 2x power-up during a run doubles it temporarily. Because the final score is distance times multiplier, finishing missions is the fastest route to bigger high scores.
Can I play Subway Surfers on a school Chromebook?
Yes. This version runs directly in the browser, so it works on Chromebooks and school laptops without any download. Keyboard arrows handle everything, and it also responds to swipes on touchscreens. If it feels laggy, close other tabs and try fullscreen mode for a smoother frame rate.
